Aakash is a FARE Fellow in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, under the Fellowship for Academic and Research Excellence (FARE) scheme. His research interests include multi-robot systems, task and path planning, and cyber-physical systems, with a focus on designing scalable algorithms. He is passionate about advancing the field of robotics and contributing to the development of intelligent and efficient multi-robot systems. He has published his research work in top-tier international conferences such as such as the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS) and the AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). He received his B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University Institute of Technology, Burdwan, India in 2011, M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Patna, India in 2019, and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India in 2025. Prior to his postgraduate studies, he gained valuable industry experience in software development at Tata Consultancy Services.
